The situation in Israel is escalating by the minute. Another 200 rockets were fired at Israel over the last 36 hours, and two IDF soldiers have been injured by a mortar round fired from Gaza yesterday evening.
With Operation Protective Edge continuing, the Israeli military has sent us a list of requested items for the thousands of active duty and reserve IDF soldiers on the front lines. Their biggest needs: snack packages, toiletry kits, and undergarment packages.
Thanks to the matching commitment of our generous donor, Haim Saban, we have already raised an impressive $500,000. But as the situation continues to evolve and new needs arise, it becomes increasingly clear that our work is not done — so we’re raising our goal again to $750,000 to help meet the specific needs of our soldiers.
This week, the FIDF community has shown what we’re made of — so I’m confident that we will dig deep and reach this new goal.
Can you donate toward snack packages, toiletry kits, and undergarment packages for IDF soldiers?
As our soldiers prepare for a possible ground attack in Gaza, the least we can do is provide snack packages, which will energize and comfort them, and undergarment packages and toiletry kits, which will allow for basic hygiene and great physical relief.
More importantly, every item helps provide a necessary level of comfort for IDF soldiers. It is imperative that our troops remain healthy, rested, and comfortable during this critical time.
Thanks to Haim’s match, your support today is even more valuable than ever before.
Make a donation towards the wellbeing needs of IDF soldiers.
Thank you for taking the time to support IDF soldiers during this critical time.
Wishing you, and all of our soldiers, a Shabbat Shalom — let this weekend truly bring peace.
